Avoid Summer Regression - OPT 2Our summer services provide an opportunity for families who do or do not travel, do not have a lot of time, and/or need some extra support during the summer months to get the help they need without having to change all their vacation plans. Maintaining skills during the summer is important because avoiding stagnation and regression is essential in long term attainment of skills. If they are not continuing to use what they’ve learned, children, teens, and young adults may become weaker in those areas, causing them to go into the next year unprepared for the life experiences they are going to face. Whether it be social, executive functioning, or even the transition into adulthood, our summer programs make a lasting difference.

  • Social Skills: Helps participants strengthen connections, start and continue conversations, read social cues, manage anxiety, make and maintain friendships in a setting that is structured, adapt to living in dorm/with new people, and more!
  • Executive Functioning: Helps with time management, focus, initiating and completing tasks, staying organized, and valued adulting skills so they can feel confident in their abilities to stay on track.
  • College Life Skills: Older teens and young adults will focus on the adulting skills they need to feel confident in their ability to be independent, advocate, problem-solve, manage daily responsibilities, and more!

Each group is interactive, practical, and led by master and doctoral professionals who will aid students of all ages with learning and utilizing strategies that can be applied in everyday life.  Our summer services are available in person at our Boca Raton center and can also be accessed VIRTUALLY, from practically anywhere with internet!
